Material Properties And Production Process Of Camera Housing And Radar Housing
The material used is pure industrial aluminium, grade 1070A. Pure aluminium has good plasticity and is easy to cold forge. Cold extrusion has higher requirements on the weight, volume, and the end face of the billet. It also requires a precision sawing machine to cut the material.
The product is formed by cold extrusion of profiles at one time. The size and surface roughness of the product after cold extrusion meet the requirements. The surface condition of the inner cavity of the shell is also relatively good, and there is no damage or scratches. Therefore, there is no CNC machining after cold forging.
